Two of the greatest martial arts actors of this generation in one movie. That in and of itself is worthy of note about this film. It’s a combination of styles, not just in action but acting. Jackie Chan, whose roles involve a lot of speaking and humor you don’t see in a lot of these types of films. Jet Li, who speaks very little but strikes hard when he has to. Defiantly something of note to watch and see how the two interact.
The basic plot starts out with your basic kid is taken from the world he knows into a world he’s only seen in movies. Honestly this is simply a tried and true plot device. What makes it interesting is what the talent in the cast brings to it. The settings and landscapes that this was filmed in are extremely beautiful to watch. Fact is that the experience brought in by Chan and Li balances out the newbies as you watch the movie.
I won’t go into specifics, the wonder in this movie can not be put into a single review, but I will say that you should see it and enjoy the ride. It’s a great story, with a lot of wisdom.

I saw the Dark Knight yesterday and I have to say. The folk saying this is what Heath Ledger will be remembered for are right. He perfected the role so well in this you have to wonder at what point he stopped being him and started being Joker. I defiantly think this is a good movie that everyone should see. It gets down to the deep and dirty of Batman and that which defines the genre.
It also leads into a good leadoff for any new movies that will come out.
Went and saw Underworld: Evolution this weekend. Thought it turned out damn good, especially watching a good female heroine beat the shit out of a monster. Kate Beckensal is hot in the black latex. What can I say, I like females who you can say she has big guns and not have to be talking about her tits.
The storyline for this one is pretty much a direct continuation of the first movie. Picks up shortly after Celine kills Victor in movie one. We find out more about Vampires and Lycans, and even meet the one that became the progenitor of both species.
If you got time to go see it then I say do so, it’s damn good, and who knows, you might like it.
